Level description

The candidate has demonstrated the ability to understand and express him/himself in spoken and written language in evertday situations requiring a simple and direct exchange of information using frequent expressions related to areas of immediate relevance. The candidate is able to communicate in simple and routine tasks.
The candidate has demonstrated the ability to understand and express him/himself in the spoken and written language, concerning familiar matters regularly encountered requiring simple connected texts. The succesfull candidate is able to comprehend and describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, and he/she can follow and briefly give reasons and explanatations for opinions and plans.
The candidate has demonstrated the ability to understand and express him/himself in spoken and written language on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization. The succesfull candidate ia able to comprehend and produce complex texts on a wide range of subjects, and he/she can interact with a degree of fluency and spontacity that makes regular interaction with native speakers possible without strain.
The candidate has demonstrated the ability to understand and express him/himself in spoken and written language on a wide range of topics. The successful candidate is able to understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning, and he/she can express him/herself fluently and spontaneously, using language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.
